My wife and I are headed to Japan for three weeks, roughly one week each in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka. As someone who loves to tinker on RPi/Arduino and who appreciates niche/quirky/vintage electronics, where do I need to “pay my respects”? Akihabara is on my radar of course but what shops in particular? The literal shrine to the electronics god in Kyoto is also on my radar.
