go-yaml: YAML Encoding, Decoding and Querying for Go — As of this week’s 1.7 release, it now supports YAMLPath, a way of extracting values or ASTs by a simple query language (example).

Resty 2.3: Simple HTTP and REST Client Library for Go — Simple in terms of getting around its API, but in terms of features it’s pretty packed.

Lockgate: A Cross-Platform Locking Library — Has support for distributed locks using Kubernetes and OS file locks support.

go-blurhash: A 'BlurHash' Implementation in Pure Go — A BlurHash is an ultra compact representation of a placeholder for an image that, as a blur, vaguely represents the original image visually.

godirwalk: Fast Directory Traversal Library — Claims to be faster, easier, more flexible, and, on Windows, more ‘correct’ than filepath.Walk.

cli: A Simple and Fast Way to Build CLI Apps in Go — A long standing library (that somehow we’ve failed to link to before) that’s just had its first release in two years. Great to see someone has taken it over.

BigCache 2.0: An Efficient Cache for Gigabytes of Data — A concurrent, evicting in-memory cache built in Go. There’s an HTTP server package available too if you want to make it available as a service.

dicom: A High Performance DICOM Medical Image Parser — This is a a very specialized med-tech usage of Go, but if you’ve had an MRI, say, done (I have!) and they gave you a disc with the data on it, this could be of interest. Or if you're building medical software, of course.. 😉

Ebiten: A Simple 2D Game Library for Go — The latest release (1.9.0) no longer requires Cgo on Windows, has many performance improvements, and uses Metal on macOS instead of OpenGL.
