SAN DIEGO - Wells Fargo customers were unable to use the bank's online service and debit cards Thursday morning.
This was the second time in a month Wells Fargo customers had an issue accessing the bank's online system. The bank apologized on Friday, February 1 about the system outage.
"We apologize to our customers who may be experiencing an issue with our online banking and mobile app. Thanks for your patience while we research this issue. If you are impacted, please check back here for updates," Wells Fargo stated.
The bank issued a follow-up tweet about an hour with another apology and said, "We're experiencing a systems issue that is causing intermittent outages, and we're working to restore services as soon as possible."
Online users received a message about the temporary outage.
Users took to Twitter complaining about not being able to access the bank's website and app. They started experiencing the issues around 3:30 a.m. PST.
