You can bookmark pages in Microsoft Edge by adding them to your favorites list. There are two ways to bookmark in Microsoft Edge: with a keyboard command, or by pressing a star icon. Bookmarking pages makes it easy to open them again later, and is especially useful for pages you visit often. Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.
You put a bookmark in a physical book to make it easier to find the page you were at. Digital bookmarks do the same for websites. In Microsoft Edge, when you set a bookmark — which are also called "favorites" — it makes it easier to find a website later. It also makes Edge more likely to suggest the website when you start typing its name into your address bar. It only takes a moment to bookmark a website in Microsoft Edge. Here's how to do it on your Mac or PC. Check out the products mentioned in this article: MacBook Pro (From $1,299.99 at Best Buy) Lenovo IdeaPad (From $299.99 at Best Buy) How to bookmark a page in Microsoft Edge 1. Navigate to the page that you want to save. 2. If you're on a PC, press Ctrl + D on your keyboard. If you're on a Mac, press Command + D.
You can also click the star icon at the right side of the address bar.
When you bookmark a page, you'll be presented with a few options. One is to name the bookmark — this is what the bookmark you create will be titled. By default, it'll be the name of the webpage.
You'll also be asked to choose a folder that the bookmark will be stored in.
If you don't have a folder that you want to put it in, then you can pick "Choose another folder." You can make a new folder here, and you can create sub-folders inside of existing folders.
To find bookmarks you've previously made, you can click the three dots at the top-right of the screen to access the options menu, and then click "Favorites." The bookmarks saved to your "Favorites bar" will be shown here.
For a more comprehensive list of your bookmarks, you can enter "edge://favorites/" (without the quotes) into your address bar and go there.

There's no way to hide your toolbars in the mobile app, so you can only "get them back" in Google Chrome's desktop app. Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories. In our distraction-prone lives, it's an understandable desire to be as minimalist as possible. However, it's also possible to be too minimalist. This is especially true when it comes to the programs we use every day, like our web browser. In a web browser, toolbars are important — they contain many of the features that make browsing the web easier. But in a quest for minimalism, it's possible to shrink or even remove the toolbar, cutting us off from its features. Luckily, if you're using the desktop version of Google Chrome for a Mac or PC, there are a few different ways to get that toolbar back. Here's what you need to know. Check out the products mentioned in this article: Apple Macbook Pro (From $1299.00 at Apple) Lenovo IdeaPad 130 (From $469.99 at Walmart) How to get your toolbar back in Google Chrome Through the extensions menu If you've hidden your extension icons, you can get them back through the extensions menu. 1. Open Google Chrome on your Mac or PC and click the three vertical dots found in the top-right of the browser window. 2. Select "More Tools" from the drop-down menu, toward the center of the list, and then "Extensions." 3. Find the extension you'd like to make visible on the toolbar again — it should have a small switch icon at the bottom-right of its box. Click that switch so it flips to the right. The extension should instantly reappear in your toolbar. Through the bookmarks menu Normally, Chrome will show a selection of your bookmarks below the address bar. Here's how to get them back if they've disappeared. 1. Open Chrome on your Mac or PC and click the three vertical dots icon in the top-right corner. 2. Select "Bookmarks," and then "Show Bookmarks Bar." Exit full screen mode If you're in full screen mode, your toolbar will be hidden by default. This is the most common reason for it to disappear. To leave full screen mode: On a PC, press F11 on your keyboard. On a Mac, bring your mouse up to the top-left corner of the screen and hold it there for a moment. When the menu bar appears along with a green circle and a red circle, click the green circle.
