Future Versions of macOS Won’t Include Python 2.7 The next macOS release deprecates built-in Python 2.7 and other system scripting languages, such as Ruby. The system scripting languages on macOS have always lagged behind the latest releases, for example, the macOS system Python is still on 2.7.
